Submitting Your Application

Submitting your application is the first step towards joining our program and becoming a qualified Allied Health Assistant. Your application allows us to determine if you meet the minimum requirements identified for enrolment and the successful completion of our Program. Your suitability to undertake our program is assessed from the time you make an initial inquiry to your attendance at a Pre-Training Review (PTR) session.

What Happens After I Submit

You will receive an email confirmation of your submission followed by a sequence of emails requesting you to:

  • Complete an online Language, Literacy & Numeracy test
  • Schedule your online Pre-Training Review (PTR) session
  • Prepare for your PTR session by reading all documents
  • Attend your online PTR session at the scheduled time
  • Notification of your enrolment status will be emailed to you within 7 days of your PTR session
  • Pre-commencement information will be sent to successful applicants via email prior to the Program start date

How Long Does It Take?

To complete your application online, we recommend setting aside 20 minutes. This should allow you enough time to complete the necessary information for your submission.

To complete your application, you will need to provide your:

  • Contact details 
  • Prior and/or current education
  • Current employment status
  • Residential status
  • Centrelink/concession status
  • USI number (Unique Student Identifier). We have included a link to help you find your USI.

2024 Intakes

The HLT43021 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance Program, is a Nationally recognised qualification that provides a platform for a strong career in Allied Health.

Commence April 26th

  • Program duration: 11-12 months
  • Delivery mode: Face-to-face & online
  • Time commitment: Approx. 8 hours per week
  • Applications Close: 5pm Thursday 18th April

Available to La Trobe Sport and Exercise Science Students

This program provides La Trobe Sport and Exercise Science students with 120 hours of industry placement with leading healthcare organisations. These hours can be attributed towards meeting student ESSA and university requirements.
