Who We Are

Exercise Research Australia are leaders in education services for tertiary students studying Exercise Science and VCE PE students. Our education and sports science teams comprise enthusiastic, qualified and dedicated professionals who have first-hand experience in specialised education and testing services.

We entered the vocational education and training (VET) sector in 2010 to make a positive change to the quality of graduates entering the allied health and fitness industries. We pride ourselves on providing students with high-quality training that is industry-relevant.

 

The Role 

This role provides a unique opportunity to lead a high performing and highly motivated team to deliver quality education in a niche market.  Based in inner Melbourne and reporting to the Education Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining RTO quality systems and processes to ensure regulatory compliance with State and National authorities, while keeping a focus on program quality.  Other key responsibilities of this role include entering and reporting monthly student training data and undertaking annual internal and external audit activities as required.

 

Who We Need

Our Training Quality Coordinator must be passionate about quality assurance and developing others. With demonstrable leadership skills within VET compliance, you will have a high level of understanding of the VET sector to champion quality and continuous improvement across all aspects of the student experience. We are seeking someone who embraces information technology to drive innovation within quality assurance practices.

The successful applicant will  have extensive knowledge of the regulatory environment, including an understanding of Skills First Funding requirements and a strong background in RTO quality systems and processes. This role requires someone with:

  • minimum of 5 years working in similar roles in VET quality compliance
  • minimum of 2 years VETtrak experience managing and reporting enrolment and training data
  • demonstrated understanding of the VRQA and Skills First contract requirements
  • experience conducting internal and external audits
  • intermediate to advanced IT proficiency (MS office 365 suite)
  • evidence of undertaking relevant professional development in VET compliance
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • National Police Check (within 30 days)

This role presents a unique opportunity to work in a progressive team with a focus on professional growth and development. This role can be accommodated in either a 4 or 5 day per week employment type.

An attractive salary package will be provided, relative to the successful candidates' experience and qualifications, within the range of $75,000 – $90,000 plus Superannuation (FTE).

All ERA team members receive use of our fully equipped on-site gymnasium.
