Submit your application to become an ERA Allied Health Intern
Submitting your application is the first step towards becoming an ERA Intern. Your application allows us to determine if you meet the minimum requirements identified for enrolment and the successful completion of our Program. Your suitability to undertake our program is assessed from the time you make an initial enquiry to your attendance at a Pre-Training Review (PTR) session. An overview of the process required to become an ERA Intern is below.
Select your preferred intake to then complete your online application form. You will receive an email notification of your successful submission. At this time, you are not enrolled and do not have a commitment to pay any fees.
Use the link sent to you via email to book your online Pre-Training Review (PTR) with one of of our team. This 15 min session allows us to assess your suitability to undertake our Internship Program. It is conducted using Zoom meetings and will require you to share your screen in order to complete the necessary enrolment paperwork. Upon booking your time a zoom invitation link will be saved within the event automatically scheduled in your calendar to enable you to join the online meeting.
Prior to attending your PTR session we need to know a few more things about your university, work and external time commitments. Use the email link sent to you to complete 'Your Profile'. This must be done at least 5 days prior to your PTR session date.
It is important to read through the relevant documentation for your PTR session to allow us to confirm your eligibility to receive government funding and to check your suitability for the Allied Heath Internship program. You will receive an email with these documents that you should read prior to your online PTR session. Please note: do not sign any documents until advised by our team member at the completion of your PTR.
This online session is where you will be provided with a statement of fees outlining the costs of the Internship Program and where you will complete your enrolment paperwork. During this process, we discuss your career goals and interest in the industry, as well as your ability to successfully complete the Internship Program with us.
You will be notified via email of the outcome of your application, within 7 days of attending the online PTR session. Once you accept the offer, you are then bound to the terms and conditions of enrolment in the Program.
To complete your application online, we recommend setting aside between 30-45 minutes. This should allow you enough time to complete the necessary information for your submission.
