ERA's flagship allied health program, HLT43021 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, provides university students with an opportunity to build a strong network of clinical partnerships, satisfy university placement requirements, and kickstart their career in allied health. Students who complete the Allied Health Assistant (AHA) Program walk away with an industry-recognised qualification, enabling them to apply for paid work as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA), and gain practical skills and industry experience while they complete their studies at University.

This qualification has since been superseded by HLT43021 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, which is delivered by ERA under a third-party agreement with Sunraysia Institute of TAFE (SuniTAFE) RTO ID: 4693, as explained here.
The HLT43021 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance program is a Nationally recognised qualification that provides the necessary skills and knowledge to work as an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) in hospital, clinic and community work settings. For further information on this qualification, view our Program Overview. Any reference to 'Allied Health Assistance Program', or 'AHA Program', is to mean HLT43021 Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance. This training is delivered with Victorian and Commonwealth Government funding. Eligibility criteria apply. We are committed to providing inclusive, accessible training opportunities for all learners.
